Who we are
Food Creations is the data controller for the personal information described on this page. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at info@foodcreations.uk.
What information we collect
We collect the details you choose to send us through the enquiry forms on our contact page. Depending on the form, this can include:
- your name;
- your company name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your message; and
- the structured details you select to help us understand your enquiry: the service you are interested in, the product category, and your indicative volume.
Only your name, email address and message are required. The other fields are optional and are there to help us respond well.
Why we use your information and our lawful basis
We use the information you send us solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss how we might work together. Because these are business to business enquiries, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us to get in touch about our products and services. We do not use your enquiry details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Where your information is stored
When you submit a form, your details are stored as an entry in the WordPress database on our hosting, so an enquiry is never lost. A copy is also emailed to us at info@foodcreations.uk so we can reply, and we send you a short confirmation email in return.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a real person and not a bot. It runs on the contact page as part of protecting the form from spam.
- Our website hosting and mailbox provider stores the website database and delivers our email. Enquiry emails are sent through our mail provider using authenticated SMTP.
- Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the website is used. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies through our banner. If you do not accept, it does not run and sets no analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, then we delete them. If you ask us to erase your details sooner, we will do so unless we are required to keep them to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you (access);
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete (rectification);
- delete your information (erasure);
- restrict or object to how we use it; and
- receive the information you gave us in a portable form.
