About cookies on this site
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. We use only strictly necessary cookies by default, and we ask for your consent before running any analytics cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work and, in particular, for the contact form to be secure. They do not track you and do not need consent:
- a WordPress form security token (nonce) that protects the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery; and
- a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge cookie that helps confirm a submission comes from a real person rather than a bot.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (for example _ga) to tell repeat visits apart. These cookies are set only after you click Accept.
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you want to accept or reject analytics cookies. Accept and Reject are given equal prominence, and there is no pre-selected option. We use Google Consent Mode, which is set to deny analytics by default, so nothing analytics runs until you choose. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load. If you click Accept, analytics is enabled for your visit.
No analytics cookies are set, and no analytics data is sent, until you accept.
Changing your choice
Your choice is remembered on your device. To change it, clear the site’s cookies in your browser and reload the page, and the banner will appear again.
